3.76 Acres; 198 Units

The Villa Torino complex is a vital part of the redevelopment of downtown San Jose that began in 1980. The 198 unit project is located on a 3.76 acre city block at the edge of the city core and the mixed use and residential areas to the north. The site is served by a light rail system on First Street and defined by the major east-west collector street of Julian.

The site development is based on the urban pattern of perimeter development with internal private open space. The only exception to this is a major set back at Julian Street to create a traditional on grade auto court and principal entrance.
