The San Juan Oaks Golf Club is the first phase of this master planned community, which includes a variety of residential villages, commercial development, and a resort. TGP provided design services for the clubhouse and garden areas, landscape development of the golf course, the entry drive streetscape, lighting and signage.

San Juan Oaks is set along the coastal foothills near the San Juan Bautista Mission. The landscape design reflects the mission architecture, with plazas, gardens and plantings of this historical period. Mature native Oak trees were transplanted from the adjacent lands to the golf course to enhance the appearance and play on the golf course.
