Located on the Cal State Campus, TGP provided site and landscape design services for the new campus community, consisting of four new four story dormitory buildings, an administrative office building, and new dining facility, totaling over 250,000 of development. A central campus green is surrounded with shade trees, providing a recreational space for the students. The sloping site allowed for creative terracing of the spaces, providing seating areas and stepped planters around gathering areas. A sand volleyball court, spa, and a basketball court are incorporated into the design, along with barbeque and picnic areas, which activate the community space. The entry plaza is accented with flowering trees and decorative paving, creating a welcoming arrival at the dormitories. The plaza also serves as the starting point for a pedestrian walk that links the new residences to the central campus.
