The central open space pedestrian walkways also function as emergency access routes. The richly planted streetscape provides a scale and rhythm to the loop road that is unrivaled on the Peninsula. The perimeter of the site is a natural preserve extensively planted with native vegetation which helps improve storm water runoff quality in the neighborhood.
