The buildings were organized to provide a central piazza that combined pedestrian walks and arcades, shaded crushed stone seating plazas, and an auto court of interlocking paving stones. This combination of uses creates a unique outdoor office environment that is both relaxing and animated as people use the space. Building entrances and lobbies are aligned on a central fountain, which adds a festive ambience to the space. Wood furniture is arranged by the tenants on crushed stone plazas under the canopy of London Plane tree groves according to their needs. Native Oak trees were preserved around the perimeter of the site, and new species were interspersed to create an informal exterior context in contrast to the central piazza environment. |
