This planned community of 1200 acres was developed to include over 2,500 residential units, a country club, community recreation facilities and trail systems, and a commercial office center.

Walking trails run along the lake and through the small park bordering it. A community recreation center provides meeting facilities, a competition pool, tennis courts, and a boat dock for lake access.
