The landscape is comprised on an entry plaza with a garden built over a subterranean parking structure for a landmark, 19 story office tower in downtown Oakland. It is a major part of the 12 block urban redevelopment project The Guzzardo Partnership has been working on with the City of Oakland since 1985. The plaza serves as a critical link between Clay Street and the main retail areas of City Center. The replica bamboo garden in the entry lobby is set off by the lawn panel, bonsai trees and seating plaza outdoors.
