This small office building in Menlo Park provides a Mediterranean style perennial garden experience for the tenants of the building. Courtyard walls define the garden rooms but allow carefully planned views. Entry portals and fountain courts contrast with a shaded deck built around an existing large oak. Many large scale oaks were preserved and integrated in to the site and landscape plan in a carefully orchestrated collaborative design effort in which the owner played a pivotal role.
