RANDALL MONTBRIAND

Randall (Randy) Montbriand brings a strong background in design production and project management to The Guzzardo Partnership, Inc. team. Before deciding to practice as a landscape architect, he was Technical Services Manager for a twenty-two person department of a large, international design/build company.

Randy strives to ensure that the site design is a coherent unit reinforced by its detailing, paying particular attention to transition zones and the sequential experience of a site. He played a pivotal role in the development of the Sun Microsystems Menlo Park campus, Villa Torino Apartments, and in landscape design for 25 buildings for Cisco Systems in San Jose.

Since joining The Guzzardo Partnership in 1989, Randy has been project manager for Cisco Systems; Sun Microsystems, Santa Clara and Menlo Park Campuses; and Oakland City Center, as well as a large number of residential developments in the Bay Area.

Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Randy studied at the University of Arizona, Tucson for his Bachelor’s Degree. He earned his Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington.
