GARY LAYMON

Gary Laymon, is a principal of The Guzzardo Partnership, Inc. and has over 20 years experience in all phases of landscape architecture, land planning and design.

His approach to design seeks to find a unique and creative solution to each opportunity that reconciles site constraints and development program aspirations into a unified successful solution. This collaborative approach allows the personality of clients, design team and community leaders to be expressed in a landscape design that reflects the qualities of the place. A strong bond is forged between the site and the development program, resulting in integrated urban communities that are functional, enduring and inspirational.

Gary has designed many award-winning landscape architecture and urban design projects, ranging from master planned residential communities, high-density housing and apartments, office and corporate campus planning, recreation and park development, and retail shopping center projects throughout Northern California and the Western United States.

Gary joined Guzzardo Associates in 1980. In 2000, he and Paul Lettieri took steps to become owners of The Guzzardo Partnership, Inc. A native of California, Gary earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
